City Councillor François Le Borgne joins Mayor Éric Allard's team

Châteauguay, March 20, 2025 - Alliance Châteauguay, Mayor Éric Allard's team, is pleased to announce that twice-elected independent municipal councillor François Le Borgne will be joining the team in the upcoming municipal elections in November.

According to Mayor Allard, his arrival illustrates the openness and collaboration that unite all members of the current municipal council. As municipal councillor for district #8 - D'Youville, François Le Borgne sees the mayor's team as the best forum for respectful debate, and for putting his expertise and vision to good use for the benefit of all Châteauguay citizens.

François Le Borgne has played a key role in a number of important tax initiatives, notably supporting the introduction of levies to ensure more equitable taxation. These levies, particularly those on development, help finance essential infrastructure while ensuring responsible management of municipal resources. François is also determined to continue improving the MonDossier citizen service application, a key tool for tracking requests to the city. His goal is to ensure greater accountability and modern, transparent communication between the administration and citizens.
