Two experienced councillors rejoin Mayor Allard's team to support the development of the industrial park

Châteauguay, June 9, 2025 - Châteauguay Mayor Éric Allard is proud to announce the nomination of two experienced councillors to his team for the November 2025 municipal elections: Barry Doyle and Mike Gendron. Their renewed commitment is aimed at accelerating ongoing projects, particularly those related to the development of the industrial park, a key driver of local economic recovery.
Barry Doyle, who has been a Jack (formerly La Noue) district councillor since 2009, is seeking a fifth term. A long-time resident and active retiree, Barry is known for his proximity to citizens and his ability to listen. He intends to continue improving neighborhood services and supporting sustainable development projects, while actively contributing to the development of the city's industrial sector, key to Châteauguay's economic future.
Mike Gendron, a very popular councillor in the Lang district, is seeking a seventh term. An entrepreneur and family man, he is deeply rooted in the community and committed to its citizens' quality of life. A well-known team player, Mike intends to continue his work to strengthen public safety, improve recreational infrastructures and stimulate economic development through better use of industrial space and increased accessibility for local businesses.
